Comic Book Illustrator:

Comic Book writer seeks illustrator to work on new graphic novel project. This is an excellent opportunity for any individual trying to break into the business or simply wanting to beef up their portfolio. This project will be pitched to Image, Dark Horse, Black Bull and Oni publishing companies. The story, characters, and world have been thoroughly researched and developed. The next step is your input and line art/inks to create the visual elements of the piece.

Initial work will be character splash sheets and 9 pages of sequential art to meet all proposal standards. Artist must understand anatomy, sequential art, camera angles, hit dead lines and be willing to add their own flair and interpretation.

At this point, payment will be deferred, but this is why we begin at the proposal level. If you think you can handle 3-5 splash pages and 9 sequential sheets in order to launch a new comic, then we can move forward with this exciting project. At the very least, your work will be seen by editors for the companies above.
